Salamis Organisation purchases a new Ro/Ro vessel
Salamis Tours (Holdings) Public Ltd announces that a Memorandum of Agreement has been signed for the purchase of a new Ro/Ro vessel.
The agreement will be finalized by the end of July 2021 with the delivery of the vessel.
The ship was built in 1990, has a total tonnage of 21,224 tons and is registered in Finland. The company intends to register the ship with the Cyprus Register and rename it as Ro/Ro Vassilios in commemoration of Vassos G. Hadjitheodossiou, the founder of Salamis.
The purchase of the ship falls within the scope of the shipping activities of the group.
